KanjiBox is an offline Japanese studying application. It provides an efficient yet fun way to practice all aspects of Japanese (kana, kanji, vocab, reading, writing...) through drills, quizzes and flash cards, while providing engaging feedback through progress charts, scores and game-like "achievements" for each Japanese level.

KanjiDraw and KanaDraw add-ons harvest the full power of your devices touchscreen to guide you through proper Japanese handwriting, while detailed animated cards tell you everything you need to know on each kanji.

KanjiBox is particularly well suited for standardized test preparation (JLPT, Kanji Kentei, Ninja Academy etc.) but works great as a personal study tool too.

(check the link, below, for a video showing some of the features in action)

Pros and cons of KanjiBox app for iPhone and iPad

KanjiBox app good for

Jlpt oriented japanese flash card application, companion of the facebook application of the same name. Stats provide a good progress indication. First version has some gliches though.
Definitely the best kanji app. Game center makes it even more addictive.
I started learning japanese 12 months ago. This is a great learning tool to learn your kanji an have fun at the same time.
A must have to study japanese. Fun and addictive. Looking forward to enjoying new updates.
Very useful. A must have for people willing to learn japanese!
- multi users stats - in kanji draw rewrite last kanji if incorrect - alternative training sets for learning and kanji draw , particularly Japanese school levels

Some bad moments

Liars, theres no hiragana setting! And you have to pay extra for the drawing features. 30day trial or purchase. Only $0.99 but still, you have to pay extra.
I have been using this app for a good while, maybe one year or so. Its very useful Im enjoying this like a game while learning at my pace everywhere I go.
