Addictive

I use this app daily and it helps me a lot with studying.

New interface

The cool app is now even more useful with the new beautifully designed user interface. Please keep up the good work!

Worth the money

Im highly satisfied with this app. I already recommended it to friends of mine:3

Bugs and oh my

Could be excellent but suffers from bugs. In quiz mode the app will crash and exit after the first wave of questions. Also, the kanji readings (the kana are hard to read btw) and the meaning are sometimes mashed up or altogether missing. When correct, the screen will flash green; this is going give some people a seizure. I recommend changing into an audio cue instead. Get this fixed asap please b/c right now people are paying for a non-functional program

Great Quizing!

My experience has been very positive with this program and the quizes are particularly challenging, starting off with easy questions and then as you progress, challenging you to read kana and kanji in the question, as well as in the answer. This really points out the areas you need further study in. You can also change the level of quiz for each section you are studying. For example you may be at level 3 on Vocabulary but on level 4 on Reading so you can quiz and drill yourself at those different levels with changing the settings. The Reading section is also very well done and totally challenging, ending complacency.

Great app in the works

I really enjoy this app, its a fun way to motivate study. The app is also always getting significantly updated on a regular basis which makes it a great value. On the next update I wish they would make it possible for you to see what you entered VS what the right answers were in drill mode since kanji choices can often look similar to the novice. Right now you get an annoying flash and it moves on to the next question while giving you the correct answer below; this robs the user of the opportunity of learning the meaning of the kanji the user mistakenly chose as their answer. Otherwise a GREAT app I love it!

Great studying and time killing app

There are improvements and new features regulary. It got much better than its brother on Facebook. A must for all kanji learner owning an iPhone. People complaning about bugs must have jail breaked version. Mine works 100%.

Neat app

I have only been using this app for a few days but Im quite enjoying it and looking forward to discover its many facets. The only reason I cant give it a 5 stars is that it has crashed 3 times on me in 1 week and that is an annoyance.

Easy to use, practical, and addictive.

I am using this app to review Japanese I learned ten years ago. The instant feedback keeps me motivated. The convenience of using the app on my iPhone means Im more likely to study. You need to include grammar lessons though...

Excellent

Better than any other kanji memorization tool Ive used, including DS Games, flash cards, and studying in the McGill library until 11 pm. The periodic review is well tuned and the Kanji sensei feature is an excellent extra. Its a steal at twice the price (just look at how much a tuttle card deck would cost!) 4.5 stars; half a star missing because it doesnt have my dream feature (stories to use to memorize Kanji meanings) and its missing Kanji radicals. This may be a feature though - I find Im learning more without them than otherwise.

Incredible

Absolutely the best Japanese app available. Now you can even import your Kotoba (dictionary) favorites list (via the clipboard) and it will be converted into multiple choice reviews. I would pay $30 for this app, easily.

Why didnt I buy this sooner

Worth every penny. Id gladly pay a lot more for this great app. The only kanji learning app youll ever need.

Useful app

Great for practicing JLPT kanji reading skills in your free time. I use it every day between classes.

Fantastic app!

Ive downloaded and used tons of apps for language learning and this is the best one Ive seen so far. As far as Im concerned, itd still be a steal at 20$ and great value for the money at 50$. If youre serious about learning Japanese and the kanji, this app will help you tremendously. There are tons of flashcard apps out there, but the problem is always that the quality of the content is way too low. KanjiBox is far from perfect, but it still shines like the sun on a hot summer day compared to everything else Ive seen. Totally worth the money.

No hiragana

Liars, theres no hiragana setting! And you have to pay extra for the drawing features. 30day trial or purchase. Only $0.99 but still, you have to pay extra.

Best of the best

This is the first time Ive felt compelled to review an app. This app is far beyond any kanji learning app in terms of depth, ease of use, customization, and just sheer quality. You can trust me, I have them all. The few extra bucks is worth it.

I love this app!

On the train everyday using this app. I love how it organizes the kanji by levels according to the efficiency tests.

Amazing

I really truly love this app, its pure fun and I actually want to continue constantly drilling the kanji and readings. The next improvement I wanna see is maybe add a section relating to grammar or sentences. That would just be lovely but for now Im pretty satisfied

Great App

Very useful app. Great to keep up with a systematic review.

Great!

I love every part of this app! Its Soo cheap, not even close to what its worth!
